Background:
The GCC Certification Tracking Symbol (GCTS) was issued by the GCC Standards Bureau (GSO) on November 14, 2016. On June 26, 2016, the Bureau issued Notice 422/300/16, stipulating that from July 1, 2016, 13 types of controlled products entering the seven Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen) must be GCC certified and affixed with GC Marking; on January 1, 2017, 13 types of control products entering the seven Gulf countries must be completed. Products must be printed with exclusive two-dimensional code and certification body code G logo.

GCTS usage specification basic content requirements
("XXXX" is the number of the certification body, "YYYY" is the registration serial number).
GCTS (as shown below) with two-dimensional code and organization code on the GCC certificate is used only for illustration of certificate and not for product printing or other purposes. (map note is minimum size requirement)

§  If the minimum size GCTS cannot be printed on the product due to the material or volume problems of the product itself, the product itself must be printed with GC Marking (as shown below). If the minimum size of GC Marking cannot be printed on the product body, a complete GCTS must be printed on the product package and instructions.

§  GCTS main body GC Marking, two-dimensional code and mechanism code display color is limited to black and white dichroism, the background can display white, black or other colors, GCTS main body must be clear and easy to see, not easy to erase.

§  GCTS shall not be mixed with other certification bodies, and no other signs should be added to the safety zone.

§  GCTS can be scaled in proportion, but it should not be smaller than the sample size required.

§  GCTS must complete the GSO official registration and get it from the system. The main part of the GCTS identifier is not detachable.
