In February 2017, the STB Standards Bureau of the Belarus Standards Bureau further amended the Energy Efficiency Ordinance No. 849 of 2016, formally promulgated the compulsory implementation date for energy efficiency certification of electronic and electrical products. Since the compulsory date, products in the catalogue must obtain Belarus Energy Efficiency Certificate STB EE before they can be sold in Belarus. The new Energy Efficiency Certificate requires that the certificate be effective as soon as September 1. The target products are the main electronic and electrical products such as external power supply. The specific implementation is listed below.
