PSE certification is the safety mark of Japanese products. Japan's DENTORL Law (Electrical Equipment and Material Control Law) stipulates that 498 kinds of products must pass safety certification when entering the Japanese market.

DENAN in Japan classifies electrical and electronic products into two categories: specified products, including 115 products, and non-specified products, including 338 products. Specific electrical products must be inspected by a third-party certification authority authorized by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Japan for products and plant testing equipment. PSE certification certificate shall be issued. The certification period shall be between 3 and 7 years, and PSE diamond mark shall be affixed to the products.

Non-specific electrical products need to be self-checked and declared to prove the conformity of the product, and the PSE circular logo is affixed to the product.
PSE certification applicants can be manufacturers or importers.

Since both China and Japan are members of the IECEE-CB system, the test report can also be directly converted from the CB report.

Upon completion of the inspection report, the applicant shall provide a Japanese manual or assembly manual, product related structure and parts information, inspection equipment related information, factory quality inspection report (including 100% electrical strength test report, operation inspection record, etc.) and accept factory inspection arranged by CQC. PSE inspection certificate can be obtained through factory inspection.
