CB system is a set of global mutual recognition system established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IECEE). Forty-five certification bodies from 34 countries participate in this system. The Member States and member institutions of this organization are expanding. After obtaining the CB certificate from one of the certification agencies, the enterprise can easily convert the certificate into the certificate of other institutions, thereby obtaining the access certificate to the relevant national market. The member states of the CB system include all the important export areas of China's mechanical and electrical products: the United States, Japan, Western Europe, Nordic Europe, Poland, Russia, ASEAN, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
In regard to the application of CB test certificate, we should pay attention to the following points:
1. An application for a CB test certificate may be submitted by the applicant to any "Certification/Accreditation" NCB covering the scope of the product. ,
2, the applicant can be either a manufacturer or an entity authorized to represent the manufacturer.
3, applications can include one or more factories producing products in one or more countries.
4. Applicants/manufacturers/factories located in countries without IECEE membership are required to pay an additional fee of 150 Swiss francs per CB test certificate to compensate for the operating costs of the system. This fee is charged by NCB receiving the CB test certificate and will be entered into the account of IECEE.
5, applicants can request NCB to test products based on national differences in products sold to the country.
1, you can convert foreign certification certificates.
If you have obtained CB test certificate and CB test report, you can apply for certificate of other countries directly. The certification authority of the applicant country examines the CB test certificate and report (including the report on the country's differences) and, if necessary, provides a small number of samples. If the result of the examination is qualified, you can obtain the certification of the applicant country without additional testing in accordance with the statute and procedural rules of the applicant country.
2, you can change the Chinese national certification certificate.
According to the CB test report and the difference test, China National Product Certification Report is issued to obtain the compulsory or other voluntary certification of electrical products in China.
3, directly recognized or approved by other countries.
With CB test certificates and CB test reports, your products can be exported directly to some countries.
4, save time and cost.
If domestic enterprises apply for CB test certificate in China before applying for foreign certification, because the test is carried out in the CB test laboratory in China, not only the cost is saved, but also the turnover time of sending samples and documents is saved. Domestic enterprises can obtain CB test certificate as soon as possible.
5, increase the certainty of passing the product test.
If the enterprise has obtained the CB test certificate, when applying for certification in other countries, all or most of the CB test results are approved, which can exempt or reduce the re-sample test, and also save time and cost; more importantly, the products that apply for certification have done CB test in China, increasing the assurance of products passing the difference test.
